| ![]() The deep blue colour looks very elegant. Complements the cars' sharp lines. Not so sure about the blue-ish ambient footwell lights? I see TML has deleted the plastic engine top cover: engine bay looks quite scary if you ask me, like a spaghetti bowl of wiring and plumbing snaking its way all over the place ![]() Hope they've shortened the top 4 ratios enough to make the car feel spiffy. |

| ![]() I wonder if it is a wet or dry clutch setup. Either way, it is a welcome addition. Hopefully, this gearbox can make its way up to the more powerful models soon. I really hate the way that Tata treats its products. It's like a TV series. They find a way of keeping things interesting every now and then, but with a twist. |

Oh! Thanks for the correction and sharing. This is good to know. I suppose we still have to be wary about the real world performance and reliability of this engine just like any new product |

| ![]() On an otherwise very enthusiastic forum, there really doesnt seem to be much excitement for this car! |

TATA is the only one to be blamed here. To launch their most anticipated car in the hottest segment where there are close to 30K sales per month and not having an auto box for two years will definitely put off many prospective buyers. And finally, when they are ready, they don't want to launch it in turbo engine but only in NA. It would be a great surprise if TATA can manage even 2K sales of auto variants! But the irony is that TATA will be very happy to get just 2K sales! ![]() | |

| ![]() Tata Motors has launched the Altroz DCA with introductory prices starting from Rs 8.09 lakh, and going up to Rs 9.89 lakh. The new 7-speed dual clutch (wet) gearbox is being offered only with the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, NA petrol engine. | ![]() The pricing announced. Starting at 8.09L I don't think it is that much VFM for the 1.2 NA engine. It will come down to individual preferences, as to what one is willing to compromise. Last edited by AkMar : 21st March 2022 at 12:07. |
