It makes a lot of sense that Steve Martin and Martin Short have such great chemistry in Only Murders in the Building, considering how long they've known each other: they've been friends for over 30 years! They first met in 1986 when they co-starred alongside Chevy Chase in the movie Three Amigos, and from then on, they were inseparable, sharing events and family vacations.
