Isn't it crazy to think of how long South Park has been part of our lives? It's been alive and inappropriate since 1997, more than a quarter of a century. Who would we be without those troublesome boys and their weird parents? All joking aside, South Park has aged well, which isn't always valid with mature audience-themed animations. This particular animation is here to stay, at least for a bit longer.

This article will delve into the hideous world of Season 20 and why it is so amazing. Some newer episodes are a little tough to get into, but not Season 20. It is loud, in-your-face, nonstop offensive entertainment at its best. Together, we will remember the stories of those specific friends when internet trolling took over and even more so during the great Member Berries crisis of 2016. Fond memories, indeed.

Member Berries

Member Berries are the size and general appearance of grapes but are very sour. Each Member Berry speaks in a soothing voice and reminds surrounding humans of nostalgia from long ago when times were better and kids played outside more, listening to Africa by Toto. Everything has crumbled except for these lovely Member Berries and their memories. Slowly, people realize that the Member Berries are a bit dark, conservative, far-right, racist extremists that might recall some fantastic stuff from back in the day. Still, they also want to bring back the "old ways," which are horrifically prejudiced and nasty.

Given the state of America and the presidential election floating overhead, this is hilarious and nails the point competitors were trying to make. Make America great again by bringing back the fundamental and proper ways.

Gerald becomes insane with power since he has become the most potent internet troll the world has ever seen.

South Park Elementary's boys and girls are divided because of Skankhunt42's trolling. The boys think it's funny and refuse to have their rights taken from them. The girls, on the other hand, think the entire thing is stupid and degrading. They even refuse to stand for the National Anthem, which causes waves of fighting to break out over what to do about it.

Then, like a miracle, J.J. Abrams, the creator of Lost, steps in and reconstructs the National Anthem to make everyone happy. He says it is acceptable to stand or sit during the Anthem, which makes Mr. Garrison freak out because he wants to go against what he is supposed to do but is now confused.

Gerald and Schwaggins go on to break up their squad when they are rude to each other. Finally, Hillary Clinton meets Gerald secretly and asks him to get rid of TrollTrace.com for good. Gerald then flies to Denmark dressed as the ambassador and is put in a room filled with other internet trolls. To his disbelief, the trolls inform him that the government has made a deal with Denmark, and the briefcases that were to explode only play the whimsical song Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.

Lennart Bedrager allows Gerald to make one call but must tell the person answering his true identity, so he calls Ike and has him log in as Skankhunt42. Sheila, Kyle, and Ike's mother catch Ike doing this and get to the bottom of it. Bedrager then locks Gerald up and lets him watch as he unleashes the ultimate trolling when he puts the trolls and the TrollTrace.com people in the same room. Bedrager thinks it's hilarious to watch them butcher each other endlessly and wishes for this trolling to take over the world and turn it into turmoil. Gerald ends up throwing him over a railing and killing him.

The Gender War: Boys vs. Girls

Butters in South Park Season 20
Comedy Central

The development of Skankhunt42 has angered all the girls and women of South Park. They begin to believe all boys and men are evil and dump their boyfriends to band together. When Butters gets dumped, he takes it a bit too far and decides it's time for the boys to take back what is rightfully theirs by pulling out their wieners in public.

Of course, this is senseless and stupid and angers the women more until the other boys beg Butters to stand down so their gender isn't eliminated. Butters, insane with fear, decides to launch SpaceX and escape to Mars along with Cartman and Heidi. Later, they meet Elon Musk and realize they don't want to go to Mars and blow SpaceX up.

As tensions rise as the presidential election gets closer and closer, Mr. Garrison gets nervous because he is winning. They still cheer him on even when he tells everyone not to vote for him because he doesn't know what he's doing. Clinton is telling people not to believe anything he says, so everyone thinks he knows what he's doing.

Towards the end, Mr. Garrison accidentally drinks a Member Berry and becomes crazier. He wins the presidential election and tries to run away. It doesn't work, and the member berries end up at the Pentagon, where their leader discusses his plans to bring back the original Stormtroopers.
