Shhh, do you hear what Horton hears? It's definitely a Who, but which Who and who does that fabulous character voice belong to? There's no doubt that everyone can recognize the lovely and majestic voice of the one and only Jim Carrey, but who are all those other voices filling the background banter while Horton listens to that Who?

Jim Carrey plays the lead role of Horton, the elephant in Horton Hears a Who! Carrey is, as always, hilarious and captivating. Children and adults will find unabashed amusement in his role, a highlight of this children's film about believing in something we cannot see but exists. This movie teaches compassion and acceptance. Jim is no stranger to playing, or in this case, voicing a lead role though this one is a bit quieter and lacks his iconic facial expressions and physical goofiness.

Jim Carrey is known for providing nonstop comedy on the set of many movies, such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, Mr. Popper's Penguins, The Grinch, Sonic the Hedgehog, and The Mask. He is an irreplaceable actor in Hollywood, and his role in this and many other films is unique and memorable.

Steve Carell as Ned McDodd, the Mayor of Whoville

Steve Carell has never ceased to be funny and quirky. In fact, he is precisely the kind of personality you would expect to find in Whoville. In this visually spectacular animated movie, Steve makes a perfect Ned McDodd, Mayor of Whoville. He's also the father of 96 daughters, a son named JoJo, and is married to Sally O'Malley.

In his human life as an actor, Carell is known for the hit show The Office and movies such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, Bruce Almighty, Anchorman, and anything involving the Minions. Many of his roles as an actor seem to bring out Steve's actual character, which just makes us love him even more. He frequently stars with other big-name funny people like Paul Rudd, Jim Carrey, and Will Ferrell.

Will Arnett as Vlad Vladikoff

Will Arnett stars as the evil vulture in the Dr. Seuss movie and pairs up with Jane Kangaroo to try to rid the forest of the clovers that Horton is protecting. Vlad isn't very smart but makes a great bad guy. Will seems to really enjoy playing the dense guy that floats along in his own universe, which isn't exactly a far hike from his role in Horton Hears a Who!.

Will Arnett has been in such movies as The Lego Batman Movie, Blades of Glory, Monsters and Aliens, The Nut Job, and Let's Go to Prison. His TV shows include 30 Rock, Arrested Development, and BoJack Horseman. His most notable and memorable role will go down in history as George Oscar "Gob" Bluth II in the beloved, long-running cult series Arrested Development. His equally hilarious ex-wife, Amy Poehler, also stars in Horton Hears a Who! as Sally O'Malley.

Seth Rogen as Morton

Seth Rogen is the voice of Morton, the adorable, level-headed mouse in this Dr. Seuss film. He is Horton the elephant's best friend, and though he doesn't believe Horton at first and tries to reason with him about the Whos, he is nevertheless on his side.

Seth Rogan is hilarious and has starred in many comedies, including Knocked Up, Superbad, The Interview, and Pineapple Express. Some of the actors he frequently stars in movies alongside are also in this movie voicing these adorable Dr. Seuss characters. Funny people seem to stick together when it comes to excellent roles in movies.

Carol Burnett as Jane Kangaroo

Carol Burnett is electrifying as the busybody and rather obnoxious and ignorant Jane Kangaroo. She has a deal with Vlad Vladikoff to get rid of the beautiful clover and doubts the existence of the Whos. She even goes as far as to blame Horton for causing anarchy in the jungle.

Burnett has been in the film industry for a long time and is best known for her role in The Carol Burnett Show. She also had roles in Annie, Better Call Saul, and Mama's Family. Burnett has seen her fair share of shenanigans in and out of Hollywood and continues to be a strong actress, and knows exactly how to show these new kids a thing or two.

Jonah Hill as Tommy

Jonah Hill is widely known as a funny man capable of acing some of the silliest and best roles in the film industry. In Horton Hears a Who!, he is the voice of Tommy, the cute bear who is a good friend of Horton and believes him when he tells them about the Whos living on the clovers. He also looks out for Katie since she's a crazy and unpredictable yak.

Hill has been in a bunch of great films and continues to make us all smile in the roles he plays. He's been in films like War Dogs, 21 Jump Street, The Sitter, Superbad, and You People. His very first role was a small but hilarious one as Bret in I Heart Huckabees which he played alongside some big names like Naomi Watts, Jason Schwartzman, and Jude Law.

Isla Fisher as Doctor Mary Lou LaRue

Isla Fisher is the voice of the highly knowledgeable and very kind Dr. Mary Lou LaRue in Horton Hears a Who!. The character whose voice she creates helps Mayor Ned McDodd speak to Horton and proves that there is a much bigger world out there than what the Whos know.

Isla is a Scottish/Australian actress who has been in many fantastic films with some of the other funny guys who lend their voices to the characters in this movie. Some of her other films include Wedding Crashers, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Scooby-Doo, Rango, The Great Gatsby, and Definitely, Maybe. Isla has been married to funny guy Sacha Baron Cohen since 2010.

Amy Poehler as Sally O’Malley

Amy Poehler seems incapable of being anything but charming and comedic. She is the voice of Sally O'Malley, Ted McDodd's wife and the mother of his 97 children in Horton Hears a Who! Sally is supportive, kind, and an all-around great mom. Even though her husband can come off as eccentric, she is a very loyal wife and mom.

Poehler has been in so many shows, skits, and movies that it's hard to keep track of them. Some of those appearances include Parks and Recreation, Baby Mama, Sisters, Inside Out, and of course, nobody could ever forget her time as a shining cast member of Saturday Night Live.

Joey King as Katie

Katie, a very strange, small, cute, and rather goofy yellow yak, never seems to stop talking or being weird. She always shows off her rows of sharp teeth and says strange things to anyone who's willing to listen.

Joey King is the voice of the rather obnoxious yak in Horton Hears a Who!. She has been in several movies, including The Kissing Booth, Ramona and Beezus, The Princess, and Bullet Train. King's first role was with superstar Selena Gomez in Ramona and Beezus. Selena happens to also be in this cute movie as the voice of Helga.

Jesse McCartney as JoJo

Actor and singer Jesse McCartney is the voice of Ned McDodd's only son, JoJo, in Horton Hears a Who!. JoJo has been described as the "emo" Who and often seems down, except when singing. JoJo wants his dad to understand him and generally feels left out.

McCartney has been in several movies, including Alvin and the Chipmunks, Young and Hungry, Summerland, and Chernobyl Diaries. He has also been in a handful of TV shows like Law and Order.

Selena Gomez as Helga

Selena Gomez is the voice of Helga, one of Mayor Ned McDodd and Sally O'Malley's adorable 96 daughters. She is simply adorable and rather boisterous and fights with her other sisters at times. Ned loves her immensely, and it shows.

Gomez is a singer, actress, producer, and businesswoman with her own line of makeup. Her very first role was on Barney and Friends. She is a huge success and frequently makes headlines for it. Though she battles Lupus, she is a very strong and focused woman with seemingly endless energy.

Niecy Nash as Miss Yelp

Niecy Nash as Miss Yelp adds a very comedic tone to this no-nonsense character in Horton Hears a Who!. As Mayor Ted McDodd's loyal assistant, Miss Yelp puts up with a lot of craziness and makes sure the Mayor knows that. She is very kind and supportive even when the Mayor appears to have gone completely insane.

Niecy Nash is known for her epic role in Reno 9-1-1 as the phenomenally hilarious Deputy Raineesha Williams and her roles in Claws, Guess Who, and the great Getting On, and recently the limited series Dahmer on Netflix. Nash has a long wrap sheet of appearances in series and movies. She is a real-life jokester and even wore her prosthetic booty from Reno 9-1-1 during the premiere of Reno 9-1-1: Miami. Being the pretty lady that she is, she's frequently seen with a flower behind her ear.

Dan Fogler as Yummo Wickersham

Dan Fogler is perfect as Yummo the huge monkey. He is loud, hilarious, and maybe a little bit scary, which sums up Yummo's personality perfectly. Yummo is very protective of his bananas, and the smaller monkeys fear him. His two smaller, younger brothers, Nits and Nuts. Yummo is pretty clueless and leads the jungle inhabitants to attack and capture Horton and possibly cook him because Yummo doesn't believe him about the Whos on the clover.

When he's not monkeying around, Fogler has been known to make guest appearances on shows like The Walking Dead, The Goldbergs, Hannibal, and so forth. He also had solid roles in Man Up! and Secrets and Lies. He is best known for his role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Fogler made his initial debut on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Jaime Pressly as Mrs. Quilligan

Jaime Pressly is a great match as the boisterous Blue-Headed Palooski, Mrs. Quilligan, in Horton Hears a Who! As young Jessica's mom, Mrs. Quilligan, is very supportive of Horton and his speck on the clover. She is a little bit bird-brained but still a kind lady. Her daughter, Jessica is in Horton's art class.

Pressly is probably best known for her role as Earl's ex-wife on My Name is Earl and Joe Dirt's eventual wife in Joe Dirt. She is also known for her roles in I Love You, Man, and Not Another Teen Movie, and also her delightful TV roles in the series Mom and Jennifer Falls.
