The first of The Hunger Games movies was released more than ten years ago. However, this and its sequels are still among the favorite stories of the public today. So, Suzanne Collins wrote a fourth book, which serves as a prequel to the books and movies of the saga, called The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Its film adaptation will be released in November of this year. However, it won’t feature Katniss Everdeen in the cast, as it’s a story set 64 years before the events of the first book.

For its part, the universe of this science fiction saga captivated audiences, not only for its scenes and plot but also for its characters. Although we remember Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch with love, while other characters like Snow made an impact, these weren’t the only ones who made the story work. Below you can find a list of the most underrated characters from The Hunger Games.

Foxface was the female tribute from District 5 of the 74th Hunger Games. Although this wasn’t her original name, Katniss nicknamed her that because of her cunning and her quiet and discreet attitude. In fact, Foxface never harmed Katniss, and the protagonist thought of allying with her, although this did not happen.

This character dies by consuming the nightlock berries that Peeta had collected, which were poisonous. But the interesting thing about Foxface is that there is a theory that she actually committed suicide or was sending a secret message to Katniss and Peeta. Before the games, she could be seen matching the plants and berries perfectly in the knowledge test, so it doesn't make sense that she would consume the nightlock.
