Paramedics responded to Perry's home in Sherman Oaks Wednesday morning and the fire department call mentions that the actor had a stroke. A representative for Perry confirmed that he was hospitalized and says that Perry is "under observation," but did not offer any other details. There are no further updates as of this writing. Since the news has started to spread, former 90210 co-stars Ian Ziering and Shannon Doherty posted pictures and words of support for Perry.

But before they even give you enough time to shed a tear, we're shown Jughead's face waking up in a hospital bed. It was all a dream. Not that much of a shock but for one week they did leave us hanging there. His dad, FP (Skeet Ulrich) is sitting right in front of him and he gives his son the unpleasant news that they had their big battle with the Ghoulies but they lost badly. Sunnyside Trailer Park was mostly burned to the ground (except their home conveniently) and the rest of the Serpents are either wounded or scattered around town. But Fangs (Drew Ray Tanner) is actually still alive! The sheriff's office lied to FP about his demise so I guess that's one bit of good news. "The Serpents, they don't exist anymore," FP states. I think Jughead wishes he could have just stayed asleep.

Hiram even offers to donate money to his campaign to get him started. Makes sense with Fred surviving the Black Hood attack that he should already have the public on his side. On the way home, Archie expresses his concern to his dad about Hiram and Fred lets him know he's not that naïve. He knows Hiram wants a friend in the public office to help him. But he says he's always wanted to help the town his whole life and maybe this is a way he can do that.

In the aftermath of The Black Hood being caught (we think), things have gone back to people not having to be afraid to walk the streets at night. But now there is a whole development happening because Mayor McCoy (Robin Givens) has found that the continuing problem with the students at Southside High needs to be dealt with. And with a little financial incentive from Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols), the mayor shuts down the school, citing a meth lab in the basement makes it a "public health hazard." Even in Riverdale politics still, work the way as everywhere else, corruption is well and alive. The Lodges have everything to gain because they look to purchase the land below the school at a very affordable price. I had never really paid much mind to the mayor before but first the affair she is having with the sheriff, and now being bribed by the Lodges? I feel for her daughter Josie (Ashleigh Murray) that her mom is a piece of work.

It turns out they owe $86K and Fred tells his son not to worry because he will look into it. Of course, he will because that's the good kind of father he is to keep his son from worrying. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) asks Archie about their holiday plans but with his Mom deciding to go on a singles cruise it will just be a quiet time in town for him and his father.

But it does make sense that eventually these horny teenagers are going to go through a phase of total reckless fun because isn't that what you're supposed to do before adulthood hits? It's really great to see them being a full-fledged couple since they've had a rough go of it dealing with the Serpents, TBH, and Archie's dad getting shot. Although I think Archie is walking a seriously dangerous line by having sex with Hiram Lodge's (Mark Consuelos) daughter in his residence. But just as they are youthful lovers, they are also immature when it comes to real grown-up feelings as when Archie actually says "I love you, Ronnie." This catches them both off guard and instead of dealing with what the impact of that four-lettered word means they both act like it was never uttered and Archie makes a hasty exit back home.

Not in TV Land folks! Our would-be hero, Kevin (Casey Cott) was apparently out cruising the forest on a jog to pick up a date for the evening. The unfortunate circumstances of being gay in a small-minded town like Riverdale. While he ended up being lucky enough to find another guy to play tonsil hockey with, it ended suddenly when they both heard gunshots off in the distance. While his "date" split, Kevin raced to find out what had happened and the result was him saving Moose's life by getting him to the hospital in time. Thankfully Moose had sacrificed his well-being and put his body in harm's way to shield Midge. Now, that makes sense to me but the fact that Moose was shot several times at close range and is FINE...I have an issue with. I realize it's only the second season and we don't want to start getting a huge body count in Riverdale, but can we find a better way to suspend the audience's disbelief?!
